Travis Ismay: “I don’t think our county commissioners understand what the purpose of a prayer at the beginning of the meeting really is. Prayer before the meeting is to have the guidance of God to do what is right in all situations. No one is forcing anyone to pray. You should want to do what’s right in the eyes of the Lord as a Christian, nothing more, nothing less. Why are they making it so complicated?”
Compare the leadership of Butte’s County Commission, his excuses, etc to the Meade County Commission praying before their meeting:
Our conclusion: There’s absolutely no reason or excuse to not pray to God of whom this nation was founded upon and of whom is King of our nation and oversees our government, whether they like it or not. This should be obvious to self-proclaimed Christians like the Butte County Commission chairman.
